About
An independent library of insurance cancellation letter templates for Switzerland. Here is who publishes this site, how we work and where your data goes.
Our mission
Cancelling an insurance policy in Switzerland should not be an obstacle course. We gather in one place clear template letters, the legal notice periods for each line of business and neutral explanations, in French, German, Italian and English.
Our content is informational and does not constitute individual legal advice. For a complex case, contact your insurer or a legal professional.
Our editorial approach
Each page draws on Swiss legislation and public portals — in particular the Health Insurance Act (LAMal, art. 7, changing insurer), the Insurance Contract Act (LCA, supplementary insurance) and the FOPH's official premium portal priminfo.ch. Sources are cited and linked on the relevant pages.
We update notice periods and rules when the law changes. Insurer brands are cited purely descriptively: we are not affiliated with any insurer.
Templates are written by the editorial team. We do not publish a fake 'expert' profile: editorial responsibility lies with the organisation that publishes the site, named below.
Who publishes this site (operator)
This site, like the other domains in the network, is operated by JA Technology (lead developer). JA Technology designs and maintains the platform and its content.
Transmission to a broker (transparency)
When you ask to be called back (you then provide your email and phone number), your request is transmitted, with your consent, to an independent insurance broker licensed by FINMA: wefox, registered in the FINMA register under no. F01104644.
This broker may contact you regarding your request (comparison, new cover). You are never committed: you can decline or request deletion of your data at any time. Using our template letters does not require you to share your contact details.
The official sources we rely on:
Full legal details (legal form, registered office, UID number): to be completed.
